I'm Claire, the founder of The Card Collection, a female owned and operated small business based in Toronto. I'm dedicated to helping you connect with the people you care about the most, in the most thoughtful way possible - with a greeting card.

Like many of us, growing up I received cards from my family and friends for all occasions. I still have a large collection of cards from my childhood, including cards from loved ones who aren't here anymore. It means the world to me to be able to read these personal messages whenever I want to.

My love for cards continued at my very first job at Hallmark Cards, which was possibly my favourite job ever - I still miss it! My five years working there sparked my love of finding the perfect card for every moment.

In my twenties, I spent a few years living overseas, far away from family and friends. Staying connected wasn't always about sending quick texts or emails - when I couldn't give them a hug, writing a card and sending something real they could hold onto felt like the next best thing.

One of my favourite things to do now is browse the local shops in my west-end neighbourhood here in Toronto. I could spend hours looking at all the housewares, novelty gifts and cards. It's always been a challenge not to buy all the cards for my stash!

The Card Collection is my carefully curated selection of cards. They're thoughtfully made, lovingly designed, and all made by female women-owned businesses.

In our digital world, it's easy to forget the joy of holding something real. There's something magical about holding a card in your hands, like flipping through the pages of a good book. It's personal. It lasts. It matters.

What kind of greeting cards do you sell?

We sell fun, vibrant, and modern greeting cards for all kids of occasions - birthdays, holidays, celebrations, and just-because moments. Whether you’re looking for something sweet, cheeky, or totally unexpected, we’ve got you covered. All of our cards are made by women-owned small businesses!

 

Where do you ship? How much does shipping cost?

We currently only ship within Canada. We offer flat rate shipping for $6 across Canada.

 

How long will it take to receive my order?

We process and ship orders within 1-2 business days. Delivery times vary depending on your location, but packages typically take 2-9 business days to reach you. Shipping times may be longer during the holiday season. Order ahead of your celebrations to avoid disappointment! 

 

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Safe, secure, and easy!

 

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Due to the nature of paper products, we don’t accept returns or exchanges unless your received order is incorrect. If that happens, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

 

Do you offer free local pick-up?

Yes! We are located in the west end of Toronto in Bloor West Village. When you are checking out, please select free local pick-up in your shopping cart. We'll be in touch to arrange a mutual day and time for the pick-up.

 

Can I buy your cards in person?
